Hunger Games Chapter 20 Compehension Questions

Chapter 20

1. What is Peeta's condition?
Peeta is in really bad condition. His leg is still severely hurt. He cant move it alot. When Katniss wakes the next day she uncovers Peeta's leg to see how it is doing. She notices that the wound has gotten worse. Its really bad. All of Katniss's cure's did not work. The pills she gave Peeta didnt even work. He still has a high fever. And then she see's that he has blood poisoning .  She's very worried because Peeta because he might not be able to survive. 

2. How do the Gamemakers try to entice the tributes? What does Katniss think they have for her? 
Gamemakers try to entice the tribute by announcing some feast to bring them all togther. At the feast is when all tributes are faced to one another and have the oppurtunity to kill you right there and then. So when the Gamemakers call out to the tributes that by dawn they will have a bag containing needs for them a the cornucopia. Katniss is smarter than that and knows there's gonna be alot of tricks towards one another to kill when they meet.

3. What does Haymitch send Katniss? Why?
Haymitch sends Katniss sleep syrup. Katniss doesnt understand why she needs this at the moment. but then she knows its meant for Peeta. She will use it for Peeta so he can fall asleep and she can go to the cornucopia to get the bag.
